2025 Dallas Annual Conference Call for Presentations & Posters
Dallas Call for Presentations & Posters
The TONL call for abstracts is now closed. Selected presentation and poster presenters will be notified by Friday, January 10, 2025.
The TONL Dallas Conference provides an excellent forum to share your knowledge, accomplishments, and innovations with nursing colleagues across the state.
Presentations
Speaking presentations highlight nursing leadership of evidence-based activities and provide opportunities for networking and sharing of best practices during the conference through a formal presentation. We would love to provide members with an opportunity
to share their professional insight and experiences with our peers on subjects relevant to current and future Nursing Leaders in Texas.
Posters
Posters highlight nursing strategies that promote evidence-based activities and provide opportunities for networking and sharing of best practices during the conference.
Posters selected will be displayed during the Annual Conference. Presenters should be present at their poster during the time designated for poster review to share additional information and answer any possible questions.
In addition to traditional poster displays, three submissions will be selected for 15 minute "TONL Talks" podium presentations.
Poster abstracts should focus on innovation (creativity, improvements, advancement) in one of the following categories:
Research studies that demonstrate the use of research methods to improve or examine issues related to nursing competency development. Research projects that are in progress or already completed are acceptable.
Evidence-based practices reflect how nurses improve patient care, advance health, and impact the future of healthcare.
Quality or process improvement initiatives based on evidence that demonstrate how nursing transformed patient care and work environments.
Sending Abstract for Review
Must be submitted by Friday, December 13, 2024.
Notification of Abstract Status
The Texas Organization for Nursing Leadership (TONL) Education Committee will review all submissions and notify you of the status of your submission by Friday, January 10, 2025.
For poster submissions: In addition to traditional poster displays, three submissions will be selected to present their project during a general session to the TONL attendees.
